ADVERTISING IN PORSCHE NEWS

Our club magazine and website attracts a wide range of advertising, from Porsche sales/service/parts, through members' businesses, to classified advertisements for members (parts and vehicles). Advertising support from businesses is important to the club in offsetting the costs of producing the magazine and providing members with the opportunity to support those businesses if they so desire. However, it should be made clear that the inclusion of an advertisement in Porsche News does not imply endorsement by Porsche Club Queensland of any product or service advertised. The old and true adage of Caveat Emptor - "let the buyer beware" applies at all times.

The Committee has determined that members' advertisements in the Porsche News Market Place will remain free for members selling their personal vehicles, but advertisements of a commercial nature will be charged at the rate of $50 per vehicle per issue/ per month on the website.

Here’s a chance to purchase a well-sorted, reliable track Porsche with a known history. Previously campaigned by former PCQ President Lee Cooper in the Australian Porsche Cup competition with an outright, a second and a third is B class 2000, 2001, 2002. Since then it has been run by Trevor and John Needham in the PCQ club competition before they decided to step up to a Cup Car.

The car is a 1978 shell, with full roll cage, fitted with a late model 964 3.6 Litre engine and G50 gearbox with limited slip diff. Fuel injection is by Unichip and exhaust gases are expelled through a Gonzo system, and the suspension is by Bilstein coilovers. Maintained by T&D, the car is in extremely good condition and ready to race.

The car comes with two sets of slicks and a set of wets on Simmons wheels. Vehicle is available for inspection at Narangba.
