Welcome to Porsche Club Queensland Motorsport for 2010

Round One at Lakeside - Saturday 20th February 2010

Morning Driver Education, Practice & Passenger Rides

Like to have a drive on the track, but don’t want to run with the “Hot Shots”? Round 1 will continue the success of Queensland Raceway with an open invitation for new members and prospective motorsport participants to venture out to Lakeside Raceway and experience one of our non-championship rounds. Entrants this session have the opportunity of untimed Driver Education, Passenger Rides and General Practice, at their own pace.

With the assistance of some of our experienced members, we will ensuring your vehicle is set up correctly for events, an understanding of driver positioning, guidance around the circuit and some helpful hints about motorsport participation for 2010 along the way too. All you need is a AASA License (can be purchased prior to, or on the day), an approved helmet, suitable clothing and a roadworthy and compliant vehicle (see sup regs) This is the perfect introduction to track days for new members. – See our “New to Motorsport” Section on the website for more information and contact James Austin

Afternoon Porsche Club Sprints – Round 1

Round 1 of the Porsche Club Championship begins at Lakeside with a Sprint Event. First time Drivers who have not participated in a previous Porsche Club Event will need to undertake the AM Driver Education Session.
